One of the city's most familiar and distinctive landmarks came back to life Thursday morning when two mobile cranes hoisted a giant 34-ton propeller from the SS United States into place at the busy intersection of Warwick and J. Clyde Morris boulevards.

  • Wait untill a hurricane hits then , that things gonna spin like hell, fancy putting it back on a propshaft.

  • they will salvage a prop but not the whole vessel sad.

  • Would be fun if they could make the propeller turn, like 300 RPM. :)
