So.. a one-shot record kill and an achievement? Yes please =]

The Only Escape requires that you kill two drakes within 10 sec of each other, whereas normally you would release only one at a time, except in certain scenarios (time/storm.. etc). The whelps DO count as a drake, so one strategy would be to release one drake, get him low, then release the whelps and aoe the hell out of both. However, with the drakes we had up (time/slate/whelps), we decided it would be better to release time and slate at the same time. Worked out great =]
