FARIDA KHANUM ( BEETAY DINNON KI ) A VERY RARE GHAZAL COMPOSED BY KHALID ASGHAR

This beautiful ghazal was recorded at radio pakistan, lahoreStudio's central production unit in 1988. As a director and senior producer of Radio Pakistan, Lahore, Mr Khalid Asghar was connected with many great names from the music world such as Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali, Ghulam Abbas, Pervaiz Mehdi and of course queen of the ghazals, Farida Khanum. During her visits to Mr. Khalid Asghar at the Radio Station Farida Khanum once, expressed her desire, that Mr. Khalid Asghar should compose this ghazal in her voice. Accordingly, they decided to go ahead for recording this ghazal.
Mr Khalid invited her to come for rehearsals but she finished this work in a few hours whereby this gem in her great voice was created. Another prominent figure from the radio station Mr. Azam Khan was also present at the scene who witnessed the exceptional skills of the singer as well as the composer. Mr Khalid Asghar wanted this info to be documented for the music lovers
