  • DUDE, this is my favorite god damn movie in the whole world. Blonidini gang FTW!!!!!!!

  • NZs Italian Job :D :D

  • My MINI looks like this, only its orange, nice to see a later car getting recognition in a film!

  • @05jrock

The Garage at #22 was #22 The Crescent, Roseneath. Use Google Maps, do street view and you'll see the resemblance. Garage is gone, new houses there now...

  • Does anyone the the music that playing during the chase? Really catchy...

  • @KereHeath IF ... if you ever get to "see" BATTLETRUCK (or if you can remember) & know the scenes INSIDE the Clearwater village DOME ..

Kelly Johnstone "plays" as a village BOY .. whom KISSES Corlie .. on the CHEEK .. when accepted into the village community.

He was ALSO -- Rusty's HANDS .. when they "created" the so_called VW? (using one of my Uncles "Triumph Herald" FLAT chassis - for HUNTER's battle wagon)

Thus- it was a conglomeration of welded SCRAP (from around MY UNCLES Triumph CARS)

  • @KereHeath Woohoo thankyou.

Re Ur reponse to @stelley08 Re: Goodbye Pork Pie is a 1981 New Zealand film directed by Geoff Murphy and written by Geoff Murphy and Ian Mune ... "filmed during November 1979" [unquote] from Ur comment @KereHeath (7 months ago)

    AS .?

GOODBYE PORK PIE - was the 1st MAJOR acting for the "so-called": Jerry Austin.(played by: Kelly Johnson)

    As Kelly Johnson "himself"

HAD (just) THE YEAR BEFORE- been "in" a subserviant MINOR ROLE

In the 1978 FILMING of BATTLETRUCK

  • @redfive86 hahah - so.. the "ply- tic (ians) house on the hill -- the WASPSNEST .. wasn't built up -- arond it.eh.?

well -- try doing doughnuts .. across the Cromwell bridge "NOW" ..

as like.. it's ONLY about 100 ft UNDER WATER

(Clyde Dam made short work of "all" the good Cromwell scenery - as well as 19 miles of the NZR "rail" corridor)

  • Now - the curly question:

Where can they BUY THIS .. outside of NZ.?
