A message from The Chaser team (apologising for the Make a Realistic Wish Foundation sketch)

Julian Morrow and Craig Reucassel front the team of The Chaser with Chris Taylor, Andrew Hansen and Chas Licciardello in apologising for the sketch aired on Wednesday, June 3 2009 about the "Make a Realistic Wish Foundation."

In my opinion, the sketch was rather funny in some parts. Although the content was certainly demening, it was aimed at satirising the Make a Wish Foundation itself rather than the sick children. It should have had more focus on the foundation to soften the impact and would have not seen the distress caused to the affected families. The Chasers should have also apologised to Disneyland and Zac Efron for including them in the sketch without permission.

Watching this is painful, they have nothing to apologise for. The problem is modern day idiots who have nothing better to do but to get offended at EVERY thing they could POSSIBLY legally do, it's just bureaucracy gone mad.

Yeah, let's make a fuss over a joke and say it is outrageous when most people do fuck all to help them sick kids. Let's forget about babies dying of AIDS in Africa for a bit so we can write some angry letters. It really annoys me when people get outraged by a jokes like this, especially when they do nothing to help the sick kids in those beds.
