Hmm, I love this song and beautifully sung but I think Danielle would make a better Cosette than Eponine.

@theusualsuspect1000 yes, you are right. fantine is a character who has to have a great vocal range. I'm sure, though, that Danielle would do greatly. And yes, I can't wait for the movie to see how they have done it and I can't wait for all the actors to sing my favourite songs...

On My Own is just very challenging in general, but I think she did pretty well.

@Casutama I only think that because of the incredible range you have to have to sing that song, but I think Danielle would actually make a really good Fantine as well. (looking forward to anne hathaway singing it in the movie though!!!)

I always found I dreamed a dream easier to sing than on my own... but that might be for personal reasons. anyway, I didn't say that I wanted her to sing I dreamed a dream instead of On my own, because that's not how I meant it. I only lined out the fact that I think she would do better as Fantine than as Eponine in general.

I love Danielle, really, but I don't think this song is made for her. It is not her kind of song. She'd be best if she were Fantine, I think.
