GTA 4 Modding Guide: How to install a savegame

This tutorial will teach you how to install a custom savegame for GTA IV. The included example is for 100% completion.

The information provided in the tutorial is meant to be used the Steam version of GTA IV and the DVD version 1.0.7.0.

Tools required:
- WinRAR: http://www.rarlab.com
- GTA IV savegame: http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/100-save-game-f2740/

i cant find the gta iv savegames folder! PLZ HELP!

lol i do all the crap... downloading xliveless and shit... put a save game in there -,- start up game and says start new game there are no saves to load on your hard disk -.-"

1.Put "scripthookdotnet" in game folder.

2.Put "xliveless" in game folder.

3.Open GTA and start a new game,drive to Roman house and save game.

4.Open My Computer,and search "SGTA",will find "SGTA412" for example in AppData\Local\Rockstar Game....open file location (right click).

5.Copy your save game "SGTA410" for example in AppData...

6.Delete original save game SGTA412 and rename you save data in SGTA412.

7.Done!

We used the numbers 412 and 410 for example, rescue may have other numbers.

@2412rock gta iv savegames folder is hide folder u need to go to folder opition then and show all folder ;)

@2412rock Search "user_" in Computer,the folder is "C:\"you user name"\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegame .
