  • Nice to see a clip of Bill's version. I understand that all 150 episodes of it exist and are gathering dust in the vaults of Viacom/CBS. I sure wish they would release it and let GSN air them. Bill was a great host on any show.

  • lol. nice

  • Nope...never saw it on any of the eps WLIG ran in the mid-80s, just an in-credit mention of Viacom near the end of the roll.

  • Nice clip Adam. Did this version of $25,000 Pyramid have the dreaded "V of Doom" in the end of the show?

  • Lawford was really a great game show player. RIP, Pete.

  • I believe it was the final (78-79) season.

  • September 1978 to Sept 1979

  • What year did "The $25,000 Pyramid" move from WCBS to WNBC? Because the show aired on the former channel first, before moving to the latter.

  • Classic Dick Clark blooper.

Ironic considering that Dick also hosted those Bloopers specials.

  • Good News! According to the gameshowkingdom at blogspot, The $25,000 pyramid makes its grand return on March 30th at 11:30 AM and 90 minutes later, the $100,000 pyramid returns to the same network at 1:00 PM.

  • this episode was in fact on WNBC 4 in NYC NOT WCBS Ch 2

  • The real/fake Phil Collins! LOL!
