@themudball its called de-venomizing, theres two wasys, you can either remove the venom glands, or you can remove the venom glands and the fangs, its a terrible procedure that gives the snake what people call a "sunken head" look, but either way, venomoids (as theyre called after the procedure) have been proven to still produce venom and have killed people, it makes it less that you will DIE, but its not foolproof, you still have to treat them like 100% venomous snakes
