Doom64 EX 2.0 is right around the corner and just in case anyone thinks this project is dead, I've decided to put up this neat little preview video to show off some new stuff that will be available in the soon-to-be-released update.

As always, the Doom64 EX website can be found here: http://doom64ex.sourceforge.net/

Expect the website to get a big overhaul as well.

Also feel free to mock my poor grammar.

  • You sir a god amongst men :o)

Down loaded this last week and have been playing non stop since!

I'll carry on working on the 'Nightmare Cyber Demon' sprites and hope it adds to the community in some way.

    Carry on the great work!

Same as loading custom pwads for Doom 1 and 2. Use the -file parameter to launch a custom pwad.

  • Wow. all I can say.

  • I'm just waiting for the mod community to take this and grab it by the horns.

I'm even considering learning the level editor when I see some guys start

    building levels for this.

  • How did you do the detatchable camera?

  • bringing back the d64

  • @Sturmtrupp94

To answer your question anyways, yes it will support windows 7. Then yet, the old version should of supported it as well, but whatever.

  • DOOM 64 best doom ever!

  • I'm liking this a lot! Keep up the good work.

I'm liking the detachable camera mode, perhaps you could give the camera its own set of movements?

  • yay Kaiser!
