  • do this bout a hundred times a day and ur ready for ninja warrior

  • @PCshenanigans Place in an NW event and you might be able to pass the physical to start BUDS.

  • Damn. The rope wall and the tower scare the hell out of me. I don't suppose you have any tips, seeing as seal's jump out of planes and such...?

  • @4andbelow

Rope Wall: Climb near the poles where the rope is stiff - like the rungs of a ladder. Going over: stay focused on the horizontal pole. Never take both hands off. Get a rythm going.

Tower, watch how I flip up. Use leverage on the 2x12 to roll up and onto the next platform. Going down - istructors might bitch at you if you go commando style (hang a leg) - too many sand-darts. You can use the guy in front of you to keep the rope steep.. just stay about 10 meters behind.

  • ..and if someone bails from the rope while you're on it.. HANG ON!

  • dam bro 6:18. im enlisted in marines, leave june 13 for boot. we did an obstacle coarse at fort indiantown gap once during the warrior challenge. it was 1/5 the size of this and i was pretty winded. it would take me 30 minutes to finish this shit.

  • @MassAxeMurderer Thanks Devildog. Keep in mind that this was probably the 200th time I ran this so I can do it with my eyes closed. I reckon it was the 1st time you hit the warrior challenge course. The key is efficiency - so you don't muscle-fuck your way through it. Good luck in Boot Camp and beyond.

  • Awesome \m/

  • do you do that with weapon and webbing?

  • the tv show thats tough brought me here

  • i bet u cant do it 2 times in a row! lol jk! just watching that got me exhausted. that must be hell the first time u run the course!

  • @iowejf Thanks for the tip. Fortunately since I posted this I managed to grow the balls to put myself in situations like this until my fear of heights was gone. Now all I have to worry about is the fitness...

  • @4andbelow if you are going to bud/s you need to realize that absolutely none of this is performed in a vacuum. you will run (not walk) onto the course wet, sandy, smoked, and hurting, and there are also going to be other people all around you when you're doing this. i would actually suggest worrying more about the balance logs and rope swing. they look easy, but they will be the most affected by fatigue because your technique will suffer. practice and make sure you get those down.

  • ever been to the one on little creek? their weaver is pretty freaking tough

  • @xXCutePuppy666Xx No problem. I am actually enlisting in the Marine Corps on July 1st. Oorah!
