He says he doesn't remember parts of the accident; I believe this, because I was knocked unconscious for about 20 minutes in an accident back in '93. I don't remember it either. Knowing this, I don't believe there's any pain in dying. That accident could've killed him and he wouldn't have felt it.
In my accident I saw it coming, then I woke up tied to a board while being transported to the hospital; I don;t remember anything in between.
