(Cover) Why Does the Sun Shine?

I thought this song was originally by They Might Be Giants, but it turns out it was produced by Hy Zaret and Lou Singer in the 60s. I'm hoping to do many of their other songs now that I've found them. Chords are just D, G, and A. It's pretty easy to get. No, I'm not left handed, I'm just mirrored.

Fair enough. And "everything on it is a gas" -- there's no copper, aluminum, or iron in the sun. And my little bit that I added at the end about nucleosynthesis -- "matter made in the heart of star" -- is only partially correct; the heavier metals are made during supernovas.

But the song is not bullshit. Its intention is to be an interesting and fun discussion of the sun. It was written in the 50s with 50s science.
