well the Greeks were the first to declare what an Atheist was, atheos (Greek word) is one without god, that does not declare that the person chooses to fully close out any notion of a god but that the person simple does not believe in any deity, i did my research unless you can provide evidence to suggestion that people before the Greeks actually declared what atheist believe then go ahead and provide evidence that shows you are right
