Orthodox chams still live in south Epirus, until now. Greeks always have problems with muslims. If all Chams was christens, maybe they live until now, in Epirus. Greek never allow muslims came to Greece.

hello, I saw this clip & I really liked it.

I belong to Cretan Muslims who left Crete in 1898 during the greco-turkish war,greeks used to call all Muslims "turkos",that was why they called us turkokritikos, our family went to Libya & their were albanians who lived with us in crete & migrated withus to libya & they are called Arnautis while we are called Giritlis, I like to tell us about the chams & why they are called so, please.

@TheChamerian because the deal was to keep the muslim minorities in thrace so that turkey let the greeks live in constantinople. but they systematicly drove them away by stripping them of their rights and have them as second citizenship in their land

The Muslim Vlakh of old Thessaloniki called themselves Moaminhei- The Believers. Others called them Meghlenians or Pomaki. Today they reside mostly in Ekishehir Turkey. Their dialect is nearly similar
