Sex trafficking has destroyed the lives of many young Nepalese girls. Poverty is intertwined with the history and cultural identity of Nepal, which creates a prime environment for traffickers to prey on vulnerable women and girls. Women are often lured into human trafficking by the promise of a job and a "better life" but later find themselves trapped in a life of indentured servitude. Nepalese women and girls are considered especially desirable because of their appearance and characteristic vulnerability due to lack of education and widespread poverty in Nepal. Nepalese government officials have signed multiple seemingly significant conventions pertaining to the illegality of the sex trafficking, and yet ratifying them has not put an end to these crimes. Many relief organizations in Nepal are working to raise awareness about this issue and liberate victims of this abuse.

  • Typical white western idiots always projecting sympathy on the rest of the world who don't live by and cannot live by our standards. No other country rushes to come fix our problems but the bleeding heart liberal white Americans think it's their job to fix everyone elses. I say we keep our stinking noses out of other countries. Let them fix their own problems.

  • @heyitssunnytoday *if i was in a brothel

  • @Thopter I completely disagree with you. You call yourself a human? Regardless of any preconceived notions of what is wrong and right and what is ethical, I was in a brothel I would want to be saved no matter what. ......

  • hats off guys u doing great .we all r with u .keep it up .

  • good job guys! we should all be caring and protecting the needy ones! when some one out there is crying for help! we should help them. isn't it?

  • This is a very typical naive american video. It is true that this is a horrible thing. But for some families it is a mean of survival. "2 dollars a day" buys you ALOT in nepal, i really hate that phrase, purchasing power parity? Its nice to see you care and are trying to raise awareness. But your doing it in a very naive and childish way with little to no factual information.

  • i,ve been there and lived with a great family, and i retire this year lm going back to help these needy children.....
