Then between that and the actual uprising, he finals sees his first Bible in 1847. He was already a delusional disenfranchised Hakka minority who failed his examines 4 times and had a break down. Although he claimed to be a "Christian" I would be very dishonest in saying that he was "directly inspired" by the Bible.
And just like Hoing, Hitler got his ideas second hand and fit them into his already existing worldview.
It is about on the same level of academic dishonesty to say that the Bible directly influenced Hong Xuiquan and his "Chrisitanity" and hence resulted in the Taiping Rebellion in China 1859-1864.
He was a deluded failure who had dreams of thinking he was the younger brother of Jesus and was handed a Christian tract in 1836 that Liang Fa had wrote. After some time Hong decides the dreams he was having was similar to the story from the tract and gets his brother of Jesus idea.
And it could be just as easly said the hitler was inspired by luther or christianity in general. He was a mad man and its not fair to take what darwin said on evolution in the biological sense and blame him for what some nut did. Its dishonest. "inpsired" is not the same as blatant taking what he said out of context.
Also the verse its self mentions god sitting on the the circle, that because in the mythology he lives up above the firmament which is a dome that sits on the circle of the earth.
Except that the bible has many references to the firmament, the dome above the the earth that has windows that lets the water from above it flow to the water below it.
You want to believe on faith that fine man - i think its silly, but you just can't go pushing in what you want in retrospect.
The very idea that people could build a tower up to this dome and reach god was cause ejough for alarm for him after all
Please don't refer to me as a Liar. That is very immature to start name calling! I said the theory "inspired" Hitler. There is no solid evidence of Darwins book directly influencing him, but he is no doubt influenced by people who were. Charles Darwins cousin Francis Galton. Who developed eugenics was converted to atheism through Darwins Origins book. Just read the Wikipedia article on eugenics it draws a conection between Darwin and Hitler
According to your rendition they believed the earth was a flat disc but it doesn't say disc? Your rendering is close to correct other then forcing "flat " into it? Thats you taking your Idea and pushing it on the text. there was no Hebrew word for "sphere" they would call a ball a circle as well as a tire. It seems to me that a "Carpet" on a "tent floor" would more then likely be square? That doesn't agree with your interpretation.
AMEN!!!!! Get it Brother!!!! Thats right!!!:-D God Bless you
