I guess the Discovery Channel is hoping this is going to be the follow-up to Gold Rush Alaska. I watched it once and have my doubts that it will do as well. Main reason for this is that the people on Gold Rush Alaska were all likeable and you wanted them to succeed, but on this show I thought that the red-haired skipper was a total dickhead that needed to get the shit kicked out of him......and his crew was not much more likeable.
