@UMassColt73 Some congressional award would be fine, but a Purple Heart? That's for being injured in combat, doesn't seem applicable at all given neither injury nor combat was involved.

@tweeetme That sir is a joke. An airliner does not like water, and even if you fly gliders, your chances of correctly landing an airliner on a water surface without breaking the airplane apart are VERY low. This is an experienced pilot who made all the right decisions and who had some luck on his side.
