I chose to create this video because it was the first Rush song I ever heard.

Loudwater should be one word and capitalized. It is referring directly to the name of the river that runs through Rivendell. This is the same river that swallows the Ringwraiths at the end of Book 1 of the Fellowship of the Ring.

In the 80s, my brother and i lived in the East Bay hills of SF, and he got into RUSH through a friend of his. He played tapes of them in our room, and saw how hard I rocked out to them and how I loved this song. He made a birthday present for me of playing Rivendell 3 times in one year. My birthday is in November, right around the time of the Big Game between Cal and Stanford. In an even numbered year, when the game was in Berkeley, I would do a bike ride to the game, psyched up on this!!!
