You are too stuck on one individual persons writings. do you not understand that true ninja's were from secret societies. Not originally secret because they were spy clans but to servive. Just like the okinawan people. They trained in out of need and in private so they would not get caught. From what i gathered from watching your videos, The person you are authenticating things with is a samurai, Not a ninja. And people (including ninja) are individuals and use what works for them.

A ninja could use a bow for an ambush considering it has superior range to a blowpipe, and a ninja bow would just be Yumi not a samurai bow but a regular Japanese bow.

I'm wondering does Christa Jacobson or Budo Ryu Ninjutsu use the bow just for secret letters and messurement? And what kind of bows do they use, I noticed some recurve bows in Christa's vids?
