The Spectrum, the Philadelphia arena that hosted decades of professional sports and concerts, met the wrecking ball Tuesday. Among those on hand was Hall of Famer Julius Erving of the 76ers. (Nov. 23)

me at age 15: "mom, i'm going to the spectrum with some friens to see aerosmith". mom: "the spectrum!? isn't that the place where you get hit with pot soon as you walk in?" me: "well. they don't THROW it at you". my older sister watching my back: "no, mom, that's the civic center you're thinking of". lol. ahh, the 70's.

yeah..or we could kidnapp as many Cowboys, Giants, Mets, Braves, Cetlcs, Penguins fans we can get and force them against their will to go inside the spectrum to destroy with their own hands. By that way, if the roof collapses on them, we can kill two birds with one stone.
