Just a thought that occurred to me: A democratic president named Bill Clinton cheats on his wife. America freaks out and basically shit-cans his last year of presidency after an excellent run.

A republican named McCain - keeping in mind that republicans are almost entirely Christians who preach the sanctity of marriage - cheats on his wife, then divorces her for a hotter piece, committing multiple offenses against his god, party, and voting base, and he's the best candidate?? Though I haven't been a McCain fan since childhood, I have to say that as a female disabled veteran I found it disheartening that he left his wife and their child due to her injuries. He was injured, too.
