Tips and tricks for traveling on a motorcycle abroad. I recorded this clip in Argentina, It's not the greates but a basic set of useful tips. I'm in process of editing a full 3 hours DVD, covering everything from A to Z, from getting started, finding sponsors, traveling, border crossings, and much more. The footage was shot at actual locations, from hard-to-cross borders to crashing at whorehouses. This DVD will be free of charge and most likely available on YouTube as well. If you like to know more, subscribe to my blog at www.motorcyclememoir.com, and when it becomes available, you'll get a copy too.

Hope you find this video informative if long.

Cheers,

Chris

  • hey, just found your channel and its sweet. im thinking about riding my enduro from the united states to panama(maybe through south america). are there any countries where you have had to bribe the cops, or they really hassled you(specifically central or south america)?

I really want to take a different route through south america and go through guyana, suriname, and french guyana...these places are really low key and i was wondering if you have been to these countries and how it was?

    thanks

Don't travel expecting to get harassed because you will. Just relax and do your thing. I've never had to bribe anyone, but I've given a few fake IDs here and there. play their game and you'll be fine. You will need a visa for Suriname if you decide to go that route, and remember that those places are just water and jungles. Come down prepared.
