@tonlo2006 And why do you feel the black man has been "placed at the bottom"? Wouldn't it make more sense for the Hispanic man that can't hardly speak English be at the bottom? I am not saying I disagree with you but what is the reason? Can any of the feelings people may or may not have towards black men have to do with black mens attitudes and actions? Good discussion. @tonlo2006 I thought it was sad and yes it did bother me. It did not bother my girlfriend as she had a - just ignor it, who cares attitude about it. It was a great expirence actually. 20 years ago a white guy with a black woman was pretty rare. Race was NEVER an issue between us.

@tonlo2006 Hopefully we have come a long ways from then. There is also a lot of anger and the thought of anything that goes wrong must be somehow related to that fact of race that is passed down. Glad you left those bums behind.

@thechucker44 just to give you One last thing to chew on , about my plumbing business I only started it because I left the Plumbers Union in the 70's because the bastards hung a swastika in the trailer during my lunch break an the business agent took forever to make them take it down ! Shid I'm pushing 50 and I know for a dam'n fact the same guys I worked with back then our still in the union. Racism is unnatural is taught to children , wonder how there kids feel about blacks

Different time periods but still the same non the less The black man in America has always been placed at the vary bottom in our society. The elderly women who called me was unaware of my ethnicity over the phone.
