Utah went undefeated so they can call themselves natl champs. They might not have a crystal ball like Florida, but they are still natl champs as far as anyone should be concerned. It's not like they'd be the only ones in history to do that. There are like 500000 natl champs for like less than 150 years of cfb. How does that happen? Multiple champs in the same year. duh.

This guy is retarded. It does not matter how good anybody else in the country. There is one BCS champion. Its not who you think is the best it is who wins the game. The system is flawed but if what this guy is saying is the norm why even crown a champion.

1. Utah went 13-0. No other team did.
2. Utah beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. Alabama was #1 for 5 weeks. Florida had to beat Alabama to get into the National Championship.
3. Utah has won 8 straight bowl games. Among the teams they played: USC, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, and Alabama.
4. Utah did not lose in 2008-09. Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and every other team in the BCS did.
I know im really late but im getting tired of people saying Florida would be the Utes. They said that Alabama would beat the Utes but it was not even close.

No, you're not late. I'm always glad to hear what people think about this, because it is an ongoing problem that has been present for years and will continue to be present. I just happened to be particularly emotional about it this last season because it happened to hit the team I root for really hard this time. The Mountain West should get more attention over the coming years because Utah, TCU, and BYU will continue to produce teams that are possibly national-title worthy.

"For me as a fan, Florida has no more claim to the national championship than USC, Texas, Utah, a bunch of them. Why? Because a bunch of guys in the media or a bunch of coaches say they're better. That's not the way sports is supposed to be. I'm not buying it. But if that's the way they want to run their sport -- with a beauty contest -- that's fine. But it doesn't make it legitimate and doesn't make them (Florida) any more of a national champion than any of those other teams." -Stan Van Gundy

I won't bother replying to most of your asinine comments, but the Bradford > McCoy comment deserves a note. OU practically had an NFL O-line last season. OU's 4th-string QB could have gotten ridiculous numbers behind that line. Not to mention the kind of offense OU runs really pads those stats. We'll see if you still think Bradford is better than McCoy after OU loses that O-line next season and McCoy continues to roll.

I don't care what the hell USC, Utah, Texas.
FLORIDA IS THE NATIONAL CHAMPION!
I don't give a shit what you say you're an idiot because Florida was the best team in the nation and would beat Utah, USC and Texas!!!
Here's a Fuckin' Oklahoma fan talkin shit about Florida... lol!
FLORIDA 24 Oklahoma 14
Utah would get there ass kicked if they played Florida.

First, I am a Texas fan, not Oklahoma. I couldn't care less that OU got beat; just gives us more reason to laugh at them because they can't win a BCS bowl game, and the media fags should have considered that when selecting who was going to play for the MNC. Second, Florida beating Oklahoma doesn't somehow prove that they would beat Texas, Utah, or USC. The whole point is there is no way to know who would win because they never played each other. Thank the BCS for that.
