As a Habs fan I must admit that Subban has a habit of turning his back whether he is delivering a hit or taking one. Still, gotta give Ovechkin credit on two counts: 1) It was a good clean hit and, 2) I believe that Ovechkin actually let up on the hit and could have done some serious damage... he let Subban off easy.

Sorry, im a realist. This was such an awkward slow-motion collision, I wasn't that impressed when I saw it. Subban clearly half-jumped over Ovechkin trying to avoid a crushing hit, rolling over him. Ovechkin also let up a lot. So weird to watch

Subban was just embarrassed and took a dumb penalty for it. He actually jumped into the hit.

Not an OV fan but that hit was awesome. Dirty sweaty glove to the face at the end adds insult to injury. Can't stand Subban. Good player but terrible attitude

Good hit. There shouldn't have been any retaliation for it, but that tackle from behind was kind of Bertuzzi ish.
