A- do you guys want to go to the beach after?
S- sure thing, once I call Nick to see if he wants to come too. I dont want him to be sitting at home doing nothing.
D- oh yeah, cause we know he is sitting by the phone just waiting for you to call and plan his day for him.
S- excuse me?
D- youre excused.
S- youre kidding right?
D- oh wait, I have to be a psycho girlfriend and text my boyfriend back, hold on one minute please. (texts Joe)
S- ok, first of all I never called you a psycho. And secondly, get over yourself.
D- get over myself? Ok
A- girls, stop. Youre embarrassing yourselves. You two are best friends! What is going on! You guys are fighting over stupid things.
S- she is basically saying that I control everything Nick does
A- no she did not
D- thank you Ashley.
S- whos side are you on Ash?
A- Im not on anyones side! God! I said she didnt say that about you just like you didnt say she was a psycho girlfriend. Ok!
D- yes she did. She said I was obnoxious
A- but not psycho
S- oh grow a backbone Demetria.
D- oh, you are so lucky my nails arent dry
S- you wouldnt touch me
D- how much are you willing to bet?
A- (texts Kevin, Joe, and Nick telling them what was going on) this is unbelievable. I am disappointed in both of you. I cant believe best friends would treat each other this way.
*Demi and Selena glare at each other. Demi sees Joes car pull up and he walks in.*
J- Demi, whats wrong?
D- can we just go please
S- oh dont even play the victim Demi. Did you ever consider going into acting?
D- oh Selena, sometimes you just think youre all that, dont you? Well, NEWS FLASH! Youre not as great as you think. You rely on youre brothers and boyfriends fame to build up your own popularity, and you dont even have that many friends. Who were you friends with before I came? No one? Because after I came it was me and you and then finally Ashley. No one else was ever in the picture, which makes me think that you never did have anyone else. Did you?
S- I had friends, but I never considered anyone a best friend like I considered you. Youre pointing fingers at me, but then again, youre the one who cant even get along with her own family. You walk all over your father, you no longer have a relationship with your grandmother or even your cousin Emily for that matter, but yet youre criticizing my life.
D- that has nothing to do with anything
S- oh, but it does.
J- come on guys, chill out.
S- stay out of this Joe. Its clear whos side you will be on. You would go against your own sister for your girlfriend.
J- Selena, do you hear yourself right now?
D- no she cant shes too selfish
S- oh you just wait Demi, you just wait
D- for what?
S- dont worry about it.
D- Im not. (smiles at her) come one Joe, lets go somewhere away from her and her attitude.
J- ok.
D- buh-bye (waves to her and leaves with Joe.)
*Selena is left there fuming and walks outside just as Nick is pulling up. He doesnt say anything because he can see how upset and angry she is. He just drives to their favorite spot since they were in kindergarten: the playground near his house.*
