I just wish this would play videos on the iPhone with Winamp Remote, but it doesn't work, right file type too, mp4, also tried wmv, and avi.

For sure, can't wait for the 4g, my only isssue is with the smaller screen size.
A lot of people Reading this comment simply can't acquire Apples latest iPhone, since it will be $489
Your in luck I realized on the Apple FB Fan Page earlier they are giving away a few thousand iPhone 4gs. Save ya some time, heres the link to their contest webpage copy + paste

@idslite its about using the music on your hard drive on your desktop pc wherever you are without a large limitation on storage *(but of course you have to pay for internet connection for both phone and pc and leaving the power on)*

iamp sucks dick,
you can only select playlists
-
Use iamp remote to do that. ;)

can I control what my computer is playing with this, like the itunes remote, or is it just like thier web app?
-
im not sure why my post got down rated i said the app was good but didn't have what i needed however...
thank you conquero76 for informing me of the shoutcast app. I'm downloading it now its what i had hoped the winamp app had since i access shoucast using winamp .
Have you tried music (protected aac files) that you bought from the itunes store? Also this works in 3g and wifi? It renders storage obsolete, but the only problem is battery life.

The ONLY file types that don't work with this are DRM-protected files. I'm playing an mp3 here.
And yep, works with ANY form of Net access: WiFi, 3G, 2.5G, etc.
And exactly: it removes the limitations of the storage-size of the iPhone. ALL your non-DRMed home music is now available anytime, anywhere.
