ALSO, everyone forgets about the hard facts (which the bad mouthers of joseph smith & mormonism do not have) which is that the kid was like 18 years old when the book was made public! we arent talking about the 12th century here, were talking about 1800's - i.e. there are modern records of his birth, we know his age & the time when the BoM came out. how many teenagers could write something like the BoM that you know?

ha, all that ticky tacky mickey mouse stuff is easy to explain. the reason why it has old english - because its another testament of christ. if you write a book on cheeseburgers from one restaurant & then write about cheeseburgers from another restaurant - hello, a lot of things will be similar or even the same!

I guess your pride won't let you do what's right, huh? You really like lies, don't you? We love and honor the Bible--not criticize it. Do you know what a translation is? If you were to translate something into the language of our day, wouldn't you actually use the language of our day? That was not an "intelligent" comment, yet you take it as "proof" that Joseph Smith was a liar... I really do hope that someday you can learn to be like Jesus and love your neighbors as yourself.

He doesn't require English classes to understand that Joseph Smith was a big fat liar and intelligent people have ample proof of that....Why don't you explain to the fine readers why Jos. Smith inserted Old English in a book that was supposedly relayed to us via Moron...I mean, Moroni. Smith stole huge segments from the very Bible he critized.:)
