I have to cut my sheltie's hair that short too. gets to hot for her in the summer months of Arizona. And if we leave her with her fluff of hair she grabs it and tries to bury it in the backyard.

It's very hard telling a sheltie not to bark. and it's very bad to allow them to think that they can sneak a bite from on the counter. We have 3 shelties too who love to sneak a sandwich that is being made. That is not funny! Although, I have to agree it's cute to watch them beg, but I give end and feed them. Shelties are so much fun to live with ;-)
