@LadyMcSuperwomen Yes & a bit fermented sometimes with yeast & then this batter is poured out of fabric sieve in conical shape in clockwise motion to give it that circular form & then deep fried either in Vegetable oil or Butter oil & then its immersed in thick sugar water, This sweet is actually a middle eastern sweet that migrated to India when the Moguls invaded.
