this was a close fight i had it a for quartey he was the aggresser moving forward all night putting pressure on vargas, i dont know way the american judges always go against quartey, i would say if he did lose this fight the score was closer than what they had it i think quartey hurt vargas a few times in this fight, no way in my book is vargas a great fighter he was good at best but had a weak chin.

trinidad killed vargas in his prime....low blows?...only one... the rest were vargas crying on belt punches.....and vargas landed low blows too, he was deducted one point in the 11 for it... stop bullshitting trinidad was way better than vargas

Vargas spit his mouth piece out. That is an old skool trick he used to stop the fight and gain his composure. I totally feel sorry for Ike on this fight...he sure won

quartey was robbed???? the fight was close, but you never seen quartey hit with as many combinations as he recieved in this fight... he got outboxed.. vargas moved had more clean shots and fought the early rounds better and the last two better

Vargas is 1 of my favorite fighters ever his team pushed him 2 early and Trinidad cheated with the low blows and taped fist ruined Him! And don't start with the, he just saying that cause he's mexican stuff because i'm black i just appreciate a good boxer no matter what his race but ,I do like 2 see black fighters win lol but Vargas should have been 1 of the great 1's he had heart he could box but he just couldn't take a punch after the Trinidad fight!
