Yes, it's the same style as that of FF8 because it was created by Hironobu Sakaguchi who produced the Final Fantasy series. If you ask me, Lost Odyssey is better than FF8. It's on par with some of the best FF games like 6 and 7. If you like the Final Fantasy games from 10 on down, you should play this. You won't be disappointed. Another major plus to this is that the music was also done by Uematsu who also did music for the FF series.

WHAT MGS4 isnt coming out for 360 EVER hideo kojima said himself only Metal gear solid rising ( a Devil may cry and Mgs love child ) which wont meet up to the amazing story and spectacular cutscenes of all 4 original Metal gear solids, or even rival the story of the original 3 Metal Gears

i actually hate the FF series and loved this game ( The story from FF8 onwards was no longer about saving the world, it was about trying to pull that one chick <w< ) Yeah but i loved lost odyssey cause not only was i fun, but it had an amazing story,

its not always on edge . . alot of the time in MGS4 you lay back and watch cutscenes the notriously long bueatifull cutscenes, WHICH EVERY GAME SHOULD HAVE

The witcher is an rpg yes, but this is an JRPGS that are totally different things.
If you dont like JRPGS go play The Witcher but dont say those crap o.O
Lost Odyssey is a GREAT Game, probaly the best yet released jrpg for 360

not everything is about graphics. FF7 and FF8 had great stories, and bad ass characters. you cant argue with that. the FF series up until 10, maybe 9, helped define what a good rpg is. this is a great game. rounded characters, and a good plot. whoever says turn based games suck, doesnt know what they are missing. i bought this games, have played for hours and have yet to be bored, or even complete the first disk lol. great game, is a must have for FF fans
