New ones have 9 inches of ground clearance. I think that constitutes as a very good for a stock off roader!

Nice escape @ 4:30.

Man, this must be the most versatile car in the world. I know the Fozzie is marketed as having "light off-road capabilities," but videos like this make me wonder if it is, in reality, a genuine off-road vehicle. Anyone? Bueller?

sweet action

You should be on Subaru's payroll - or the least they could do is give you a new Forester every year. Great Vids - - - Great Car!!!

It seems that when you don't have real snow you have at least real mud :D

This is why you either buy them brand new, or from old ladies. That is, if you want it running at peak performance! Just saying

@jshrckstar
Currently is running in peak performance. I meticulously maintain my car, and replace parts as needed. I'm willing to bet my car runs better than most people who just drive back and forth to work. lol.

hows the turbo and suspension on this vehicle? i live down in texas and im wondering if it would be good for like drifting on the beach, climbing sand dunes, and going through some mud.

@erkod
The turbo is absolutely fantastic, extremely quick car on road (Car and Driver got it down to 5.3 0-60 times with the manual), and very capable off road (or the automatic). It's the best all-rounder out there. As for sand and mud, that's what Subaru's were built for. But the tires are another matter. All Terrains are great in sand, but not so much in mud. Mud terrain tires are great in mud, but suck in sand. You need to find a tire good in both. Either way, the Foz can handle it.
