just curious, is it possible to mount a turbo directly on top of the intake manifold with the butterfly built into the intake of the turbo?? route the exhaust up to the turbo and incoming air scooped by the hood can cool the pipes? would it make the turbo more efficient? the air filter can stick out through the hood of the car. the fastest way to suck in cold air. let me know if this setup is possible...experimental ford explorer 4.0l v-6 ;)
Uuhhh.... Maybe. The top engine vents are used to extract air out of the engine and not to pull air into them. A turbo on this car would be noce. Too bad I sold it.
That sounds really nice. I have an H272 that I haven't installed yet. I'm going to put it into my 3.2 stroker engine. (3.1 crank / rods, and .040 overbore pistons).
How big are the rims?
