Even when he told you that he "could have" sued the city your response was "then they got mad because you sued them?" That shows that you were not listening to him. Then you blab on about websites and electric bicycles as though he is going to whip his Iphone out text you his contact info. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this interview.

I see Craig and talk with him a couple times a week. I and heard that this video was on youtube. I realize that this was your first interview but you really come across as a pretentious snob who is more interested in "petting the poor" than finding out his story. Several times during the interview you interrupt his answers to your questions. You also feel the need to finish his sentences for him as if he is incapable. You treat a 53 year old man like a child just because he is homeless.

I want to salute you for caring. I really hope this fellow makes it. God bless.

I have learned how they are taught by friends and relatives who go back to their homelands to come here, where to go(illegal ppl already here to help them) how to become pregnant either there or here, how to ask for money under the table so that they can continue to draw the welfare benefits. They even claim they don't know where the babies father is or they have no relatives...yet they are living with the father. They can be married in their countries. It doesn't show on records here.
i go to edison as a freshman and we watched a video in health about it him and it was just so sad what hes going through and how he can go to being the quarterback on the football team to being homeless. but i heard he died a couple monthes ago from cancer but im not sure if its true

@edisonchargerpride Hello, Edisonchargerpride! I am sorry that I took so long to respond, but I wanted to verify if Craig's still alive... and he is STILL LIVING! My brother saw him the other day, thank God! My brother also said that he seemed to be very lucid and doing fairly well : ) I will go see for myself and offer him some help, once again -if he still needs or wants it. If you find anything else out, please write me!
Thank you so much for your comments and concern. ~Stephanie

I would like to report that the poisonous Oleander bushes (where Craig was sleeping) were removed from the 7-11. I am not sure if it was a result of this video However, it may simply have been right! You see, with the bushes beingnear the convenience store~Craig was able to live without ever really trying to get the real help that he needed). I truly hope that Craig was able to find the help & a place to live, after the bushes were taken out). I might make a new video on how homeless survive

I am very proud of you for caring for ppl like Craig. I have been angry for decades because these ppl are long rooted Americans whose ancestors fought and died in Americas wars to build this country strong. They are the ones that should have first entitlement to our tax-payer handouts.
I am telling you all of this...because it is important to think about. Our govt. and the big corporations are shortchanging us all if they shortchange Americas poor and homeless.

THANKS for Writing and Educating all of us about the economic situation! I truly appreciate your comments, and I believe that your continued watchfulness (and that of others), is what is needed to help our citizens and our economy get back on track! I will definitely read all of your links when I get my computer fixed and write another message : ) THANKS AGAIN!

Some Ideas....
Contact govt. officials in your state. Tell them to pass laws that would prohibit, discourage foreigners who come here, have their babies and then our taxes pay for it until it is 18. We pay for WIC, the birthing, prenatal care, Medicaid for the mother and all her children...food stamps plus, they receive a welfare check, free and clear of the other benefits. It's $400 to $600 per child. If a child is born 2wks early, has birth marks, needs glasses, it gets the higher amount.

Hi Saharra22469: Thanks for writing your comments! I appreciate what you are saying about people draining our "welfare" system. However, in Craig's case (the person in this interview), I believe that the system has somehow, let Craig down. He was born in the U.S.,, and even worked for the city of Huntington Beach, California (got hurt WHILE working for the City), and I believe that he has not received the help that he is entitled to)! He was a hard working individual, and STILL disabled...
