YES! finally someone had put my idea into reaity! Thats exactly how I wanted to constract my video for my project, very well done!

@074Jesse what a crock....they did this because the final solution was the end result of hitler's/nazi's anti-semitism which itself was a product of germany's defeat in WW1. The holocaust was a series of events the culminated in the gas chambers....not some pseudo-religious quest by the nazis to eliminate "christ-killers".

And what was the camp if I may ask?? You see all the extermination camps (including Sobibor) were in Poland. Auschwitz, Majdanek, Belzec, Chelmno, Treblinka and Sobibor were in Poland. Poland was not liberated by the Americans but by the Soviets.
The only camps the Americans and British came across were smaller concentration camps, which did NOT have any gas chambers. Those were work camps where the prisoners died form working to death, starvation, disease and suicide.

That song is so insanely overused that it's disgusting.
In addition using a modern song for something which happened in WW2 is anachronism at its finest. You might as well have used "Give peace a chance" on a WW1 video.
Finally, it particularly bothers me how Tears For Fears did the original song in 1982, yet the generation of ignorant fools only ever heard the cover, which remains a cover.
Yeah, the nazis were mad. But the people voting them into power even MORE so.

As well as Sobibor, the Germans conquered the British Channel Islands and it's well documented that they tortured captured Russian/ Red Army soldiers on the island of Alderney in various death camps and that they used captured Russian/ Red Army prisoners as slaves on the island of Jersey to build concrete fortifications and the St Helier underground hospital etc. These SS certainly got their comeuppance from the Red Army in battle. Whole Waffen SS divisions were bled dry on the Eastern front.

@TheWelshFrankie I know the SS don't allow any children to live so they're shot or put in gas chambers - There was a story about a lady who now lives in Britain - she had a baby that could have her shot but an SS sergeant told her to scream when she was in labour.
A few days later the camp she and her baby daughter was in was liberated by American troops the reason that sergeant allowed both mother and infant was that he feared that if the Americans found baby's body he would be in trouble.

@TheWelshFrankie Both she and her daughter now lives in Britain. Nice story.
-
@TheWelshFrankie Yeah - having baby is not allowed under Nazi rule. A few weeks ago, a lady had a daughter somewhere in a death camp after being pregnant with a fellow death camp prisoner.
She would have died if that SS sergeant hadn't said you're allowed to scream when she gone into labour - It was just a few days before the camp was liberated by American troops - I think that sargeant allowed her to give birth cos he feared he would be executed if Americans discovered baby's body (cont)

Thank you so much for uploading. This movie made me cry my heart out. It was awful during that time, but I was very happy with the ending of the movie, when they escaped! The song goes amazingly with the theme of the movie and the clips. Thanks again :) x

@SmallPip I'm happy you like it! I completely agree! the movie really stirs up emotions. For example, I found myself laughing out loud when they started killing off the SS-men and when they escaped! Talk about the SS getting owned ^^

Thanks so much everyone! I really appricate your comments! Actually, I've met a survivor from Auschwitz. His name is Emmerich Roth and he came to our school to talk about his experiences at the several camps he was in and how you can prevent rascism today. I was deeply moved by his speech, and I can say that he's a great man.
