Imabikisou Gameplay Review PS3 Horror Visual Novel HD 720p

FYI: I noticed that I spelled vision wrong a couple of times in the intro. Apologies for that. I also want to mention that I would of course recommend this game to those already fluent in Japanese too. :) When I recommended it for students of Japanese I was considering it from the perspective of those whose Japanese is at a less than fluent level.

@jack18lvideojogos If I understand you right, unfortunately no, there are no subtitles for the whole game. I just subtitled the introduction so people could enjoy it. It helps to know some Japanese so you can enjoy the story when you play.

Do you have any other recommendations for horror visual novels? I've heard of Otogirisou which is somewhat related to this game, but that's about it.

@Maverynthia That is another one by Chunsoft, the folks that made Imabikisou so it's probably a pretty safe bet. They've done some other visual/sound novels but I don't know if they are horror themed. There was also a Silent Hill one on GBA which may be worth checking out. Apparently it's a retelling of 1 but there are alternate story lines. The focus isn't on horror as much as romance but I've also played and enjoyed Tsukihime (as a fan translation). Higurashi from MangaGamer is good too.

My pleasure. I'm glad you liked it. Too bad to hear they pulled the demo down. :( If your Japanese is ok it may be worth taking a chance on the full game. There is a Japanese walkthrough/wiki that I followed to help me get through a play through so it's not like you're totally on your own. If you get the game let me know and I'll PM you the link.
