http://bobbytalkscinema.com .................................. This is indeed a rare song, you may not have heard from the famous Subhash Ghai movie "Saudagar". It got lost in the other more famous songs highly promoted in the TV & theater promos of the movie.
However there is a complete history of the Original Compositon of this particular song.
The Original Song is "Kadey Tan Has Bol Ve" which was sung by Janaab Shaukat Ali Khan of Pakistan.
Subhash Ghai & Laxmikat Pyarelal brillianly adpted the tune and gave us this beautiful song in the melodious voice of Sukhwinder.
Later this song with the same lyircs was sung by an Indian Punjab Singer Madan Maddi in his debut album released by Tips.
And Recently in 2009, the song again got re-adopted by Pritam in the film "Love Aaj Kal" which was once again sung by a well know Punjabi singer Saleem.
So thats how "Kadey Tan Hass Bol Ve" keeps coming back year after year to impress different generations of music lovers.

Yep, it is an inspired tune, but in fact the first inspired version in Hindi Movies (in the 90s) getting all its musical notes from the Original Punjabi Song of Janaab Shaukat Ali...
