This is a skirmish game between the teams from University of Alberta and the category winner National University of Singapore. Visit www.cs.ualberta.ca/~mburo/orts/AIIDE07
This is really cool. However, singapore's strategy of packing guys as closely as possible in the first line and keep in range of only the other teams first line seems to be as good as you can do. alberta's multi-layer push strategy fails as singapore just pulls back and hits the first line. the unit "saving" through rotation only exacerbates the problem as the front line is less dense than it would be and none of the saved units firing. It reminds me of stacking mutas.
