7.3 great reliability but a lot slower than the 6.0 or 6.4.

Put the power-stroke in the mustang then add 2.73:1 gears. Fuel efficient, fast and with the right exhaust could sound pretty mean!

Its hard with truck vs car because of.all the extra weight a 500hp stang is a fast ass car but u put that behind a 7k- 10k pound truck its a different story. But its a blast going in a ride in the new powerstrokes with 700+ factory ft lbs

Get a TS Performance chip, ATS turbo, and Beans injectors and tune. You would beat it then.

@TheNineveh It's a fairly stock 5.0, lightened coupe, 4.10s. Mid - high 13s.

@cavracing2001 alot of people race trucks you dipshit. they are fucking fast when you tune them up right. look at some of the drag times of trucks on youtube then shut your mouth mmmk.

you can't deny the fact that an enormous pickup was still well within striking distance at the end of the runs, obviously the truck wouldn't be able to catch the car, but if the 5.0 started to miss or have some other trouble the truck would climb right over the top of it before they knew what happened lol

truck has predator tuner, 4" exhaust, cold air. stang has ported heads & intake, 4.10s, and some other small stuff. yes, it is an AOD.
