If you're making a shot by length, use the actual ground length, not the length from the shooter to the cup. Or else you could just drop a ball from 100 feet down a predetermined path into a cup. I'm not saying it hurts to use height to your advantage, but if you're going to drop a shot from 50 feet into a cup below it has nothing to do with a longest ping pong shot, just the highest.
