Chris Brown Update: New Album "Grafitti"

Chris Brown is re-entering the music world. I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV with the details on that story.

Hey guys-welcome back to your ClevverTV new music update. Today's update is even more interesting than usual because we're talking about Chris Brown. Brown has been noticeably absent from the music world, as a result of the assault charges he faced AND was later convicted of AFTER beating up his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

After almost a year away from the business, Power 105.1, a radio station in New York, announced that Chris would headline their big yearly concert event. He will also be doing a small tour, which is being called the "Fan Appreciation Tour." After all, Chris probably did loose a huge chunk of fans and industry supporters as the result of the situation with Rihanna. But, Chris is planning to donate part of the proceeds from his concert tour to a non-profit organization, which is always great.

Chris's re-introduction to his fans is all part of the pre-promotion for his new album, which will be called "Graffiti." This is his first release since 2007. Brown just announced via his twitter page that the official release date for the new disc will be December 15th. Also-Chris made this announcement on the exact same day that Rihanna's new single made its debut. Coincidence, or something more? Hmm...

Regardless of what you think of Chris Brown's actions, the album is shaping up pretty well. He worked with icons like Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz. Either way, do you think fans are ready to forgive Chris and appreciate his music? Or is his career beyond fixing?

i'll give him the next album to get some of his fanbase back but no way ppl are gonna buy this like they brought his albums before. plenty of artist went through phases where they have a downfall that puts a hold on their career. this album he bitched to much about rihanna and copied michael jackson alot, he needs to do what he was doing at first. his best album was his second album , i just think he needs more music like that.
