POPPER IN GREECE. In May 1993 Karl Popper went to Greece where he received an honorary doctorate from the University of Athens. He had a discussion with Professor of Political Philosophy Dimitris Dimitrakos, a former student of his at the London School of Economics. The discussion took place in Delphi and was recorded by the State TV in Greece. It was part of a programmed devoted to the personality and work of Karl Popper, presented by Professor Dimitrakos to the Greek public at the time. Its interest lies mainly in the fact that it is one of the last appearances of the philosopher on TV. He died the following year on September 17th.
