In "How to draw comics the marvel way" John Buscema says.."The important thing is to train your eye until the lines almost begin to take shape in your imagination before you start putting them down on the paper." It is easier to draw if you treat the figure as a whole than a collection of body parts.

Finest example of a artwork where no construction lines are drawn, not geometric solids to preview the picture, or even a simple descriptive line of pose and/or action of the character - designed "a-la-prima', as if mentally view the drawing complete, role in transferring the image formed in the mind through direct and definitive marks left by the pencil. Excellent work and an approach with a method rarely used so successfully.
