Sorry if t his video is loud and you have trouble hearing me speak. This video shows the flyback pulsing with FG control. The set-up is like T-1000s last published set-up except for the Caduceus Coil output coil setup is just putting the end together for one side and the center tap to the other side of the small bulb load.

This type of method will provide the best "hunting potential" for the right settings in a given set-up. Small changes to pulse width, applied amplitude, frequency, Caduceus and center core placements as well as spark gap distance are all variables that play into the final effect. More fun to come.

Thanks for you precious input (lol) as the one holding the standard. Yes I know about the secondary spark gap and will be adding it in steps as each step I want to understand fully to then see any overall changes. I put a nice coil under my first spark gap and now can see it on the scope. I already have the ferrite rods in the video but did not pull them out to show them - sorry about that. Thanks again and keep well.

  • Hi,

When your PSU gets blinking display instead of numbers, you are on right path.

Try to put ferrite rod from old radio (probably NH2000 type i believe) inside of caduceus coil. This should help with induction you need.

See if it heats on some point. If it does, you need insulaton there.

Also you need secondary spark gap to bulb and charge capacitor from Tesla secondary over diode before spark gap.

    Good luck!
