man ive had three of these over the later years of my 30 year romp. First experience with one was when my dad bought one new in 1983 as an 82' leftover in Wakefield, RI. Had a 50 Johnson on it and boy was it fun!Found the original motor by chance 20+ years later at a local marina, and it still ran! It is safely in my shed... nice lump of an heirloom.
After that as i said ive owned three... 2 with 70 johnsons and the latest with a v4 90! 52+ MPH on GPS but the 50-70 range is a much better choice

it made a surprising tow boat, had to tow a 25 foot pontoon full of people across the bay thru a storm, it wasnt exactly fun but the boat did it. miss the boat, some new guy at the marina messed up the mercury and they put a 30 honda on it. i quit after that lol
