sorry to break this to you guys but there isn't going to be a season 2. baccano is based off a japanese novel not a manga like most anime. if there is a season 2 then its gonna be a long, and i do mean long, wait for it to come out.

@lonekidinthecorner That's exactly what I said. And anime series very rarely get picked up for a second season (or third or fourth or whatever) years after the season it did have ended, no matter how much more source material there is.

@CrimsonZanpakuto i wouldn't call it lack of interest per say, i think its more that not enough people know about the anime and all its awesomeness!

@lonekidinthecorner But there are 16 volumes of this novel, (a light novel, which does get anime adaptations somewhat often), and Ryohgo Narita is still writing it and Durarara. The entire series covered one, maybe two novels. The reason why there may not be a second season is simply because it's been 4 and a half years since it ended, so the odds of a comeback are incredibly low simply because of lack of interest.
