hey, i am trying the same thing with an ipod touch on my mac, yet the ipod does not appear in the list of devices.... do you know why this may be happening and what i can do?
-
yes, but only in DIRECT mode. no good. I'd at least to a QUICK library. at least then you could pull up tracks on each side.

yep.

I appreciate the video thanks :) - BUT! - Everytime I use Numark Librarian it only builds a library for aslong as my iPod is syncing with iTunes and then on Numark Librarian it says there is a 'Serious Internal error and it cannot continue' because my iPod has come off the device list even though its still plugged in!! ITS SO INFURIATING. HELP please

Sorry, what I mean is ... I'm using Librarian for the first time on my 160GB iPod and it seems to be taking forever. How long would u expect it to take for a FIRST sync?

Ah if its full, id say a few days..
id clear your ipod to how many songs you would be using in a live set. because no one plays that many songs!

no doubt. I'd get an external hard drive, "libra-nize" that one, and just leave it plugged in. like, use the IDJ2 as a hard drive player, and then use the ipod dock for small extra songs that you MIGHT play, or for when someone comes up with an ipod and wants you to play something on it.

@rubi911 if it's FULL, I'd say around a day.
